So I've had a warning light popping off and on in the ol' Turbo Tank ('01 V70 T5, 93K). Being I'm cheap, I would try to catch it with the code reader to find out what it is. Every time I'd get there, the code would be gone and the light would clear. Well, I was a couple miles away this time when it happened again so I bolted right over and found this:<p>From an AutoXray Code Scout 2500, the code was P1171, Fuel Adaption Bank 1. They had no idea what it was and the dealer is closed and won't have service open until Monday...and I'm impatient. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"> So, I dug in to it a bit. Sounds like it's like likely the Mass Air Flow sensor. I couldn't find something online that showed where it was though. Is it like an O-2 sensor? Or something totally different? Chances are I'll have to wait until Monday for the part if I need it but thought I'd see if you had any suggestions. And, if you can't point me to where it is, I can try to clean it and see if that's the issue. Thanks!
