Is there any fix for the chrome window surrounds becoming cloudy and spotted? I've heard all volvos have this problem. Is there any product that can sure this? What cause it. Will Volvo replace if under warranty?

My 04 had the same problem. I seem to remember there was a bulletin about this and possibly a recall, but I never had mine fixed. It was caused by oxidation.

It probably is oxidation. Since this is a delicate area, you could try some mild polish and gently try to remove it. Find a polish that is more chemical based rather than grit based. I'll ask my detailing buddies and try to report back. In the mean time, I suggest you protect all your trim will some sort of sealant and don't forget the headlight cover.
