the alcantra is a synthetic suade, but as far as materials go, its basicly a texture polyester sort of thing. Its a synthetic fabric, so should be cleaned accordingly. The leather conditioner should not be put on it, but the leather sides should. The cleaner probably wouldnt hurt them, but a fabric cleaner would be better.<P>
E-mailed the company that makes the Alcantra, and they said to use a mild detergent and a medium bristle brush to clean spots on the synthetic suede.<P>Does anyone know how to get the "pills" off of this material. One suggestion was a brass brush, and another a pumice stone, like they use on real suede. Any suggestions?
