Whats the best way to clean the rubber penholders. Everything I do leaves white streaks, and the just end up lookin worse.

I use that formula 2000 vinyl protector, it works really well and is absorbed by the rubber. Just make sure you are neat and dont get it on the plastic to avoid that greasy look.

Once a year, I remove them, clean them with soap and water, then rub dielectric grease in and wipe off any excess with a lint-free cloth. I also do this on weatherstripping rubber and, if I'm feeling ambitious, on the unpainted bumper etc surfaces.

Haven't done ours yet but I'd be shocked if Vinylex (made by makers of Lexol) doesn't do the trick nicely.
