Turns out one of these check valves totally doesn't work, and 1 might be facing the wrong way?

Which way should these be facing? currently the airflow on the top one is going into the manifold, bottom one the airflow arrow is pointing to the turbo/intake tube.

I assume you are talking about the evap lines located between the intake manifold with one line going towards the turbo inlet?

Well, this is all i can contribute right now. The way the valves should be orientated, you should be able to suck through the hose at the end (the end that connects to the turbo inlet), but not blow. So the engine can freely suck through the evap hoses, but no pressure can be sent the opposite way
