http://www.parts.com/

I've been buying a lot of stuff online for my car over the years. Finally, I found a place that have just about every OEM item cheaper than any other place online.

The only problem is that their search program is not very good. DO NOT select your car model. Instead search on the part number only on the main page. I discovered this after several failed searches and later finding out that I get better results by not selecting my car.

They seem to be the middle man. I got parts but they came from a volvo dealer. I don't remember exactly which dealer though.

If you need part numbers then you can go here and search for it. The part number on this site is everything in front of the - sign. Also, be sure to remove any spaces:

Here are some common examples:
Aluminum sports pedal (auto) 30748861 - $65.39
Aluminum sports pedal (6spd) 30748859 - $65.39
Aluminum steering wheel 8698193 - $325.80
Body kit 8698085 - $562.03
Oil Filter Housing PCV 30788494 - $82.82

When your order gets too big, shipping might kill the deal though.

No, I bought the kit with the car. I used this place when I had to order my oil filter housing and all the parts that came with it. All the parts were OEM with Volvo packaging.

Here is a pic using my camera phone. Not great but you get the idea. Defensively parked away from danger.

There are a lot of cars with body kit on the S40/V50 Owners Gallery.

Boston Volvo has good prices, too. John is a nice guy to deal with. Very knowledgeable.

My swedishparts sends you coupon codes if you are on its mailing list... and things can get really cheap that way. The crew there is a pleasure to to deal with, too.
