wellps for those who never listen to the radio, and just use the CD player, but hate the antennae still being up, here is a solution that has worked for me.. and it didnt cost the 40 some dollars to install a switch to lower it.
all i did was take out the fuse that powers the antennae. the fuse doesnt power anything else (at least for me) so everything works fine, and my antennae never goes up. of course if i ever use the radio, the reception is going to suck, but i never do. CD quality all the way
best of all.. its FREE!!!! no installation, no paying for a switch, save save save wonder if this will be useful to anyone else.. but i thought i would share.
oh and side note to those afraid of loosing radio reception... i tried it out with the antennae down, and the reception is not that bad still. of course the stations i were trying generally have good reception, so try it out.
