Re: Changed my oil filler cap (frankhoffy)

Wow no chrome. If you look black it does look evil because of the strut towers are black. It is a nice balance Frank and possibly better than chrome. I am a little wasted but I think that is pretty accurate

Wow, HUGE improvement over the red.
Silver may look a little better than the black, since everything in that space is red and silver, but the black brings in the other engine components.
Can you just buy a second oil fill cap and do it in silver to compare?

Frank, as I have said before, your car is simply beautiful! I actually liked it red , but also see how it could be a bit too much. I for one think silver may be the way to go given the proximity to the silver pipe. You can actually match the low-gloss, bright silver of that pipe (and the front grill and headlight inserts) with high-temp ceramic silver brake caliper paint from VHT (about 8 bones at your local auto toy store). While I do like the black, I just think a perfectly matching silver would look more trick (and the ceramic paint is tough as stone).

Re: Changed my oil filler cap (Quick Brick)

The cap only cost me $13 so it's pretty easy to experiment.
We'll see how things go. I'll have the air box in very soon.
