So I've recently picked up a 1997 V40 T4 Cd and I LOVE it. There is however an issue with the ground wire I've noticed. Sometimes it won't start and then cuts out like it has a dead battery but as soon as you poke the ground wire everything jumps back on.
So I'm going to replace the wire myself but I have no clue where to start or shop for one?
Has anyone else had this issue and where did you get your wire from?

Thanks

I recall discussions from years ago about these cars having issues with grounding. Try cleaning and tightening all the ground terminals. These include the battery terminals and the ones that attach to the chassis. After so many years there is likely oxidation and corrosion. Inspect and replace wires as needed.
