Originally posted on VolvoSpeed but cross posted on Turbobricks, EuroOutcasts and now here. Here are the details. We want to get a somewhat accurate headcount before the meet so post up if you can make it out.

This is a holiday weekend so most people should have no problem doing something. Far enough away from Christmas and its only a couple weeks into the new semester for us college folks. I was thinking of doing something that weekend in Orlando. Lets get this meet going so we have a better turnout that last time.
Friday 6:30 PM - ??? (January 18):
Speedworld for those that want to run the 1/4. According to their current schedule, they have street drags that night. ($10 to watch, $15 to race. Anyone racing will need closed toed shoes and pants. A helmet is required for those running faster than 14.0 IIRC )

Saturday 10:00 AM - ??? (January 19):
Typical hangout somewhere in Orlando. Maybe someone will offer up their place to hold a BBQ since we havent had one for a while. As always, we just pick up the food when people start to show up and go from there. Maybe this time we can actually get a park with a BBQ pit to hang out. Orlando guys can help out with that.
OK, we are 90% sure of going over to Turkey Lake Park for the BBQ, unless Trey can accommodate over 35 people and a few cars. Either way, lets plan for Turkey Lake for now. Here is the address for those that dont know their way around Orlando. Many of us have a GPS setup or can use Mapquest well enough.

Turkey Lake Park
3401 Hiawassee Road, Orlando 32835
After a bite to eat we can head over to IKEA for a photoshoot. After a few at the park of course.

Sunday (January 20):
GTFO!!! Just kidding. If anyone stayed in Orlando its time to finish the meet. Mostly everyone will be gone already anyways so Sundays are usually low key.
If anyone else has some ideas for January let me know. I would like to see some of you guys before things get really busy here in Daytona. I know of a shop in Sanford that has a monthly dyno day for $40 as well if anyone is interested in heading over there one of these days. I would have to double check when the next one is but they generally hold them on Tuesday afternoons.

We currently have around 30 people listed to attend. Here is the link to the VS thread:
http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum...88951

We usually have a meet every month or two. There is one coming up in Daytona in February (23-24). http://www.volvospeed.com
We usually post everything there since there generally isnt any interest here.

At least when it comes to meets, yes. SS has plenty of good information but not much interaction between members (or at the least no one checks these regional sections).
The Central Florida guys are all pretty close and have some good meets. We try to include everyone, SS and TB but only VS members tend to show up.
