CD error

1995 850T with Premium sound system with CD stacker in the trunk. The unit is working on all other functions but the CD gives me an error message on the screen of E-02.

The unit has power but does not want to release the CD stack cassette even though the green light on the unit flashes when you push it.

Any thoughts?

It has been a while since I owned an 850 with cd changer in the trunk, but I also had that problem. Seems to me the issue cleared itself. If you know the security code for the head unit, try disconnecting battery for more than 10 minutes. Maybe try turning head unit off with ignition switch on for 10 minutes.
