just bought a 94' 850 wagonand I would like to add the factory cd changer. Does anyone know if it is just plug and play? Do I need any other cables etc. Any suggestions on where to find one new/used?

Personally I'm not to sure if it is plug & play.

I know its plug and play as long as you have the radio w/ the CD button. However, your car may or may not be prewired for the changer. Mine was, so all I had to do was plug it in and it was ready.

Is there any way to install non Volvo CD players... considering buying Volvo CD changers is VERY expensive
