Re: Carbon Fiber Interior Trim (lowenhart)

Considering they wanted like 300$ for mirror covers, probably like 500 But it is cool!

No thanks.
Not until they make pieces to replace everything that's silver. Trim around ignition area, door handles, trim for the rear doors....

I like it, as long as the price is reasonable

Re: (crossie)

Have you guys seen that new 3M carbon fibre vinyl?
It's woven so it has a textured feel, looks pretty good but the colour is a bit grey. Might work for someone purchasing pieces like the ones posted who want to incorporate more CF accents without their wallets melting.

Re: (crossie)

I wouldn't personally use it, but it's an idea...
I'll see if I can find a link. AJ Racing used it to wrap the roof, mirrors and some other parts on their project GE.
Edit: Can't seem to find any pics of the actual stuff

Re: (carreragt7)

No way man they would look sweet in your black interior with the gunmetal stuff, I wonder if CFWerks can do like a silver or dark grey on black weave?

Re: (sanatarium)

Black interior? Who has a black interior? Just jokin, still black, for now... I will take some updated pics soon to show everyone what my revamped interior looks like. All of the metal trim is now matte/satin gunmetal, and looks very good.
My buddy was talking about doing the trim in CF, but I didn't want it for my car and I don't have time to make it, so I am glad CFW is making more stuff for our cars instead of focusing so much on the R.

i might really look into doing this. I just got Oldsmobile toronado, 1980 with 38k miles on it, for free!. so when im done selling it this might work out well. Although im not sure how itll work with my grey interior, but i has smoked tails and some black VMSs in the work...
