hey im going to test out something. where the exhaust is going to be opne right out from the engine. the car is going to sound like a beast and will have the most power increase. than an actcual cat back. i think

Someone here put an electronic dump valve on their 2.4i, and posted vids and clips. Where was that...

Typically a totally open exhaust will kill performance rather than improve it--the engine actually needs a minimum amount of backpressure to run optimally.

but open is the same as an electronic dump valve. that allows the exhaust to be completely open. and it gives the car any where from 10-20 hp increase. some cars even more than that
