Cabin Filter.
Ok, I know there are posts on this but I have hit a snag. In my 2002 RHD S60 T5 I have located the panel under the dash that has two screws and I have removed it. Other posts then say there is a cover held in by FOUR screws but I can only find TWO screws in mine. Having removed these I was able to fold down the flap and with a struggle that ripped the knuckles of my right hand to make me look like a prize fighter I was able to get the old filter out. There is no way I can get the new one in without removing that panel, so where are the other TWO screws?
I am not small. I am over six foot and 225 pounds, a lot of which is belly and I have arthritis in my back and hips, so contortionist I am not. Can some let me know where these other screws are please? May a photo? I will love you forever.

Re: Cabin Filter (thevicar)

other 2 are all the way up the carpet, there is probably 1in of space between the screws and the carpet

Re: Cabin Filter (s140s)

Oh thanks! What I have decided to do is take my cell phone out and take a picture of the underside so I can see those bad boys and then use a mirror to guide me too them. You need to be seriously small to work on volvos!

Re: Cabin Filter (thevicar)

Thanks again! Job done. Air con like inhaling pure ice. Damn those Volvo designers! My knuckles and elbows look like I just did five rounds with Kristanna Loken. Oh, I wish...
