Trying to find the AQIS cabin air filter location on 2008 XC70, couldn't find it behind/under the glove box as on the last generation XC70, also looked under the cowl cover in the engine compartment as in some older Volvos, no luck either. Any suggestions?

Re: Cabin air filter - 2008 XC70 (napster)

Thanks for the reply, but it's not in the same location for the 3rd gen 2008 XC70

I recently changed cabin filter on my 2008 infiniti g35. That was somewhat painful when I did not know exactly how to do it. Now it will be piece of cake, and will not use dealer to change it.
Would like specific instructions for 2008 V70 as well. There is no reason for cabin filter change to cost 1 hr of labor.

Go up behind the glove box, then look left. Filter is located in the center of the car above the tunnel. You should see a plastic "door" with two clips that need to be undone. Swing open the door and slide the filter out. You will have to bend it as it comes out. Reverse for the installation.
