Pretty sweet. But you can already see people nit-picking minor things about the car. For the money, the car is stunning. I wonder how much dealers will be marking them up for.

I can nit-pick on the size, is it me or are sports cars getting this bunky look (ie, Audi TT, Lexus SC430).

Bunky's the new look man!!
That thing is fast as HELL, also it's pure displacement, let's just see what the RX-8 can do when it comes out

Too bad the car bears more resemblance to an Audi TT than the older Z-cars.
Now, where's the twin-turbo 350Z that will challenge the '03 Cobra and Z06?
The RX-8 is going to be a high-RPM screamer. Sick horsepower numbers with low torque numbers. Depends on how much that car will weigh and how it will be geared.

There is speculation that when NISMO (Nissan/Infiniti Tuning Division) finally is official here in the US, there will be something called the 350ZR, to compete with the Z-06 and M3.
Supposedly, the VQ35DE is easily capable of making 335hp in normally aspirated form. This might even come before we get the 400hp Infiniti V35 GT-R.
-Drew

Why go with the new engine design when the RB26DETT is bad-ass already and the stock bottom end is strong enough to achieve 600+ HP with lots of boost? Oh well, at least we can rest assured that the version we see over here in the states will have roughly 1/2 to 2/3 of the performance than the Japan-spec version, as usual.
-he who stacks pork

I want the GT-R!!!! The new Z seems nice but I've been drooling over Skylines since the first Gran Tourismo game, and sinse I've learned more about the cars and built a 1/24 scale model of the Zexel/Loctite JGTC R-34 GT-R car,
I think I've earned one

There is one simple reason they went with the V6 instead of the I6. It's a little thing called "profit margin".
The 3.5-Liter V6 is already in production in the Maxima/I35 and G35. The engine is there and in mass production. It would not be cost effective to restart production on the old 3.0L I6 with this excellent DOHC V6 powerplant already coming out of the factories.
Also, the old TT I6 engine made something like 320hp in stock form. I have no doubt that this new 3.5L engine is very well-breathing and capable of 335hp in N/A form. Probably will handle aftermarket supercharger and turbocharger kits very well also.
