as much help as you guys have been I couldn't deal with my s40 anymore (the car dying while I was driving was the last straw), I've traded in and got an 06 a4 2.0t. picked it up a few hours ago, and i like it much better. I have an unpainted boot lip spoiler that I bought and never put on if anyone's interested in, whoever wants it can have it just cover the shipping costs. and I may be selling my HID kits if anyone's interested in those also. I think I have 4 wheel hub cabs, old style if anyone wants those too. I'll have to look. Just wanted to thank everyone for all the help and advice!!

Sorry to see you go, sounds like you definitely got a lemon of an S40.
I would be interested in the wheel caps, are they the black style ones or the silver?
What kind of spoiler is it? Is it the wing spoiler or the euro style spoiler?

Re: bye bye 40 (carreragt7)

they are the black ones, i dont expect a big interest in them but im not gonna be able to use them now. the spoiler is an m3 style spoiler, just a little lip, it's flexible and made of rubber. i also have a bunch of hoen h11 bulbs and i think I have one a couple of the headlight covers (the caps that cover the back of the assembly and provide access to the bulbs)

How much to ship just the black caps and the spoiler? To 84606? Can it fold up if needed and fit into a USPS priority flat rate box?
BTW, I have always liked the looks of Audi's, they have very nice design. Is the 06 with the newer style nose? I think so but I can't remember right now...

yeah it can roll up and fit in a flat rate box. I dont know off the top of my head how much those run but I'll look into it. and yeah it's the newer style nose with the big grille, they changed in the second half of 05.

Re: (kpsingh0)

haha, i have hoen xenonmatch plus, and xenonmatch titanium, and I haven't decided about the HIDs yet but i have an apexcone 4300k set, and a 5000k set with one set of BOW decoders. I'll get back to on prices and stuff. as far as i'm concerned you can have the hoen stuff, and for shipping whatever the flat rate box costs. let me find all the stuff and i'll get a better list of what i've got.

Re: (kpsingh0)

I think that the lip spoiler he has is the one you can buy for $20-30 on ebay, I am mainly interested in the wheel caps but figure the cost to ship both would be maybe $12-15 so what the heck, might as well get both. I don't plan on using it on the trunk, but as a roof lip like S40Racer or whomever it was that did that, it was a good idea.

Re: (kpsingh0)

Not yet, it was included in the cost of my new paint job but I have put that off due to lack of funds. I am in the works on possibly making another style trunk lip spoiler that would cover the holes left by the stock one, already in the works of making a CF/fiberglass version that doesn't cover the holes...

Re: (kpsingh0)

They are still open, I have been super busy with other projects but I plan on getting them taken care of before I leave for the Seattle GTG. I thought I had so much time to do it all but am actually running out of time: I probably won't have my fenders rolled or my coilovers on because I am having to wait on them due to a warranty issue...
These trunk lips that you buy on ebay are definitely not big enough to cover the holes, but are a good idea for the roof spoiler...
