For some reason, my car really does not like to the cold. If she ever sits for more than a day or two shes completely dead. One thing that has come to my attention that only happens when its cold is that the light that comes on at your feet will come on and the dinger would ding. I could slam the door, and they would go off. This would only happen when it was really cold though. I yanked the fuse for the dinger, and pulled the light. My guess is that there is still something on (the overhead lights don't come on) and that is the culprit. The other thing that happens is that the transmission will be in a permanent winter mode and won't shift out of third gear until it was warmed up. Thanks to the computer, I believe that problem is a transmission switch that doesn't like the cold. Sound right?? The car is going in Friday for various things (new ignition switch, tranny position sensor, probably a new sensor in the door, and a new seal on the oil drain plug) and hopefully this will solve the cold weather problem, if there are any more ideas, please let me know, I really want to take care of this problem. Not being able to start the car is bad enough, but not starting in the cold is just a pain in the _______. Alrighty, enuf 4 now....
