I seem to be going through Rear Brake Bulbs like wildfire. Any comments? Volvo notorious?

I have not had the problem myself. What happens to the bulbs when they die? Do they simply burn out or do they shatter? How about any white or black haze within the lamp sphere itself? Any dust or grunge hanging on to the bulb glass? There has to be a reason this is happening. It isn't that hard to figure out...

I can't say I've had that problem either, the only thing I could think about is that water is getting inside your lights. I have holes drilled in my 960, and the 850 doesn't have that problem.

I've pulled all bulbs and cleaned the sockets. Seems to have subsided the problem somehow. The dealer is really going to miss my frequent visits.
