That message popped up on our info center screen. We figured out that it was the rear drivers side light on the bumber. How much is a bulb for that? Also, it looks like you need a special tool to get into that compartment. Is that true?
Thanks

Re: Bulb Failure position light? (david)

A small flat blade screwdriver used in the slot on the outboard side of the light will remove the housing. I got 2 replacement bulbs from Advance Auto for under $3 (Sylvania 2825 (W5W)).

FYI,
Your local Volvo dealer should replace it under warranty.

The cost of the fuel alone to get to the dealer would be more than the bulbs. Not to mention the time to get
the service guy to write it up, and the tech to spend 30-sec to replace it.

So true, but you might be able get a loaner and drive it 100 miles before picking up the car
