Hey guys
Anyone out there with the BSR PPC might be able to anwser my question.
My PPC has the function to "Erase fault codes". Will this just turn off the CEL or will it actually erase the error from the system so it won't run an error when I change the damaged part?
I asked BSR this as well but considering they are having holidays it might take them a while to answer.
Thanks guys!

It erases the code, and if the problem persists, the code will come right back. If you fix the problem, it will go away for good.
I did something to an airbag wire from moving my seat all the way forward. I had a "passenger airbag service urgent" or similar message on the dash. I erased the code, and it didn't come back.
