Re: BSR intake (burnsumtire)

PornSStar had a hybrid intake. It was the BSR intake mounted up to a K&N Tube. It looked sick. He has pics up on his Cardomain site. Look for a 05 or 06 silver with evolve kit. I'm on my mobile so I can't link his site.

Edit:
Here is what it looked like. Keep in mine it is really hard to get the K&N pipe by its self but you can also do the same thing with Evolve's turbo up pipe. I hate to recommend Evolve bit it makes sense every once in a while.

I love his intake too! The only thing I think that could've made it better was if the silver BSR piece was powder coated either black or a matching blue, since the silver is kind of out of place. I think the BSR setup like pictured is nicer because it probably helps get airflow to the intake better than just the 'stock' K&N Typhoon...

Re: (carreragt7)

The layout of the BSR setup makes much more sense. Its a shame its so expensive for just the sheild though. My fabricator and i are going to make mine out of aluminum and are going to replicate it a bit and some

When I got the originally got the K&N pipe for him (when K&N stopped selling the intake for about a year), we tried to get the chrome pipe but all K&N had was the one you see in the pic (silver). That would of tied it all together a bit better.

There is a guy on the R forum that is now the US distributor for BSR. He goes by Vector Auto Tuning, or something like that. You guys might want to see about getting a hold of him to see what he can get the intake for. There was a thread 4-5 days ago about them. I'm SS'ing via mobile so I can't post links.

I like the looks of that intake alot. V50_T5 what do you think makes it better than the Typhoon?

I like how the BSR set up uses the stock intake snorkel . whether or not we really need this, a good question, as the stock intake uses this, but the Typhoon doesn't.

I have not. I checked out there site when it was still in the beginning works and haven't been back. I'm working on an intake right now so I kinda have a tendency to ignore everything else when I have my mind set on something.

B-Line Custom intake for the R.......

A source for cold air coming into the intake is never a bad thing.
