You should add http://www.partsforvolvos.com, better price than the other 3 if you include shipping. I purchased directly from bsr in Sweden, paid about 60 euro to ship it over which took two weeks!!!! If i had to do it again, I would probably go the partsforvolvos.com route.

Re: BSR dealers (darylkaiser30)

The word on the street is that IPD will have a soft loader out very shortly (a couple of weeks). Not to steer you away from BSR/PPC, but there will soon be options as far as the soft-loader tune kits. The best part is you can pick it up in person at their Portland headquarters. I've heard complaints about BSR's customer service.
- Tryg

IMO, i would definitely wait to see what iPD has to offer in the short time. they said they are making an announcement in 2 weeks, so it may be worth the wait.
personally, i would much rather have the customer service and tuning of iPD vs. BSR.
just my .02

I think I've seen them before, but I forgot. I was just wondering if their new soft loader would be any different spec-wise...

It is actually being shipped from the Nordic Cars distributor in Middlesex, UK. Has anyone had experience with them? Can anyone confirm that I will not be charged the VAT since I am not in the EU? By my calculations, the selling price in Euros is 647.25 after the 25% VAT is deducted. This should equate to about $814 at current exchange rates. Not sure about the shipping charge though.
Sometimes I hate ordering things over the web...

Re: (darylkaiser30)

Alright, here's the situation: I tried ordering a PPC directly from BSR and got fed up with the order process, etc. Since I hadn't paid them anything and didn't plan on it, I went ahead and ordered one from PartsforVolvos instead (which has a very easy and user-friendly order process). However, now the problem is that BSR already went ahead and programmed a PPC with my ECU and it seems that PartsforVolvos is having trouble doing the same. So my question is this: once a PPC unit is programmed with a specific ECU, is there some sort of master BSR database that won't allow another unit to be duplicated with the same ECU #?
Please advise!

Or better still, have partsforvolvos sort it out for you.

I guess I'll just have to learn the hard way, as usual. At least they (PFS) are being fairly proactive about the whole thing and keeping me informed about what's going on.
