Lots done to the car since last posting. The winter was really harsh and the car took a beating.

- Front lip got destroyed/lost driving to work in a blizzard.
- 12" crack on the windshield after road debris.
- Bluepower BLP-890 really took another dive so was removed.
- Coming up on 100k miles.
- Timing Belt/Water Pump service soon

The good news?
- IPD Sway bars, linkages, bushings, inserts to replace (already purchased)
- Ordering Lip and new Windshield next week
- Nexus 7 Installed as Head Unit
- HID Retrofit with TRS D2S mini projectors (either the 05+ Non-HID lights or a set of R lights I picked up on here) - Seems like my 05 lights can be opened up. Will try it when I have time.

Vehicle Car Electronics Multimedia Center console

More to come.

The Nexus 7 works great for radio. So much more functionality than the traditional DD setups and the interface is so intuitive as it is the latest revision of Android. When I eventually call up Verizon and turn on my hotspotting feature, data connection will not be an issue.

More on the Nexus 7 Installation here: Post #63

We both have rare birds. Can't wait till my downpipe/cat/exhaust start rusting away so I can replace them with EST's setup with a tune to see what the T5 can really do.

Curious to know how u plan on doing the hid projector retrofit? I mean 05+ s60 headlights are sonic welded the only way to open up the lens is to cut through it and glue it back together. If you have any other way of doing this i would definitely be interested to know as i too want to do a retrofit.
A projector retrofit can be done on the 05+ S60 if you use the aftermarket TYC lights http://www.ebay.com/itm/190961149458?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I was about to do a morimoto mini d2s projector retrofit but my car got totaled.

Still to install:
IPD front sway bar with mounts

new subframe bolts, plastic washers
2005 morimoto d2s mini retrofitted bi-xenon R lights. (finally found the correct harnesses)
Viva CBV

still to do before end of the summer:
new Volvo windshield (thank you insurance)
new front sport kit lip (thank you insurance)
new front air guides (thank you insurance)
new front underbody tray (thank you insurance)
painting front lip, front bumper, and maybe rear bumper (thank you insurance)

"Needed" in the not too distant future:

Finished retrofitting one side:

Headlamp Automotive lighting Light Vehicle Auto part

Morimoto Mini D2S 3.0 X-Lens "Square" Projectors with Gatling Gun 2.0 Square Shroud.
2007 R bi-xenon headlamps with reflector, bulb holder, high-beam cam wheel, and some material removed. Painted the housing guts matte black.
Custom wiring harnesses based off of the 2005+ R headlamp harnesses. Added a wire for DRL and a relay harness to power the ballasts.

I know what all the pins do from the headlight harness to the R projectors so if anyone needs that information, check back here or in the other projector retrofit threads.
I will install both headlights and the wiring harnesses in the coming month when I get time to install the front sway bar and a few other goodies.

Stay tuned.

Reference the linked thread. I have a list of parts that I purchased.

Got the Scosche kit from amazon and had to machine off the entire inner bezel to have the Nexus sit flush. The opening is not sized exactly right (needs to be a little bit wider than the standard DD cutout), but was close enough so I did not enlarge the opening at all. You really will need a milling machine for this as it will almost be impossible to do it consistently with a dremel.

Still ticking away those miles, although much slower these days than years past. Currently at 136k miles. It's a great 20 footer. Needs some work close up though.

Got a chance to wash and clay and seal the car a little while back. It's still looking good for a 13 year old car. Needs some paint work on the front and rear bumpers from NYC drivers that SUCK at parking, but that's expected.

Land vehicle Vehicle Car Bumper Automotive design

Bi-Xenon Projector Retrofit up close. Parts from TRS

Land vehicle Vehicle Car Headlamp Automotive lighting

Car's getting a pretty nice shoe present.

Auto part Brake

R Brembo Caliper set purchased from a part-out on here.
Also purchased new Brembo rotors, SS brake lines (FCPEuro) and a set of rear dust shields also from a part-out on here.

Also since the original Orpheus wheels won't fit anymore, some new shoes for her to sit on too.

Alloy wheel Rim Tire Wheel Spoke

Orpheus wheels offset wasn't enough. So instead of getting 12mm spacers, new set of wheels. FC04 in 17x8 +35 in Titanium. Thanks EST!
Pair that with a standalone TPMS system to bring this car into the 21st century.

Gonna be a fun installation!

So anyone looking for some Orpheus wheels and/or a 305mm rotor/caliper upgrade, look out in the marketplace.

I know this to be true about NYC drivers, this is where my car came from. Original buyer was from around White Plains, bought at Red Bank Volvo in NJ, and she drove into the city for work. Door dings and paints chips a plenty. Actually surprised it's not worse.

BTW, yours is looking great!

Love the car, so much that I am a proud father of your childs sibling...

Might have to ping you in the future regarding issues you might have experienced so far.
Just cleaned my throttle body due to it getting stuck and throwing the error code.

Cheers!
