I have just recently had the engine of my 1980 242 rebuilt to specifications. For the moment, I have no plans on doing any kind of modifications. But if I were, what kind modifications would I do to get more power. The car is capable of 85 miles per hour and would like it to have a more faster pickup? For the faster pickup, I have already heard of changing the doors and panels to a more lightweight material. But I would like to know what can be done to the engine itself.
