It appears to be a separate part from the booster. According to the diagram in the link, it's part number 10. It's kind of pricey, but not as expensive as a whole booster. Definitely investigate the wiring going to the sensor to make sure something dumb isn't going on. Otherwise, if the booster isn't causing any trouble and isn't making a hissing sound when fully depressed. it's probably fine.

Parking brake service

Does anybody know what could be wrong?
This message apears almost every day in the summer when it is hot. In winter maybe once a month. When I restart a car, it goes away.
But even with message on, brakes works normally.

Someone told me that sensor in brake booster is faulty, but the whole brake boster should be replaced - 700€ :confused:

My expert with a good code reader said it was the module located in the trunk.
See my post just before yours.
He has one coming from Erie Volvo, should be here today.
