Hey guys this is my first post here. I have a 04 s60r that has a front brake caliper hanging up and I was wondering what the best option is for replacing or rebuilding it. I can't find any oem calipers for a reasonable price and I can't find replacement pistons to rebuild mine. Any help is appreciated.

I know there was a rebuild kit available at some point. Not sure if pistons themselves were included. But you should first dismantle the caliper and check the state of those pistons before replacing them.

I cleaned mine up a couple of years back and just replaced the seals. You can get the seals and the pistons from Viva here.

Easiest way to blow the piston out is with compressed air in the screw.

Also rock auto sells the pistons and boots. They had the Pistons on clearance a month ago for 3 or 4 dollars.[
If you buy the boot/ seal kit from rock auto buy the better/higher priced seals.
