No congrats
The seller decided my high bid wasn't high enough.
Sometimes I bid every week in these cases until I wear the seller down, but I think this being a FWD and it now being October, (snow just around the corner!) I'll let some Southerner buy it!

Well, I knew if I waited a week or two I would get this.
Pretty hard to sell a Volvo in South Carolina so now I DO OWN IT!
I wore him down

(Unless of course it fails post sale inspection then I won't)!!!

Just finished a complete breather box, new T belt and tensioner (cleaned the TB), serp belt looks pretty new so I left that alone and installed a pair of spring seats.
One was just about to break through, the other was "OK" but at 100K it was time to do both since I have to align it anyway.
She had a slight oil leak, traced it down to a cam seal so ALL 4 were replaced.
Someone recently did the tranny fluid as it's very clean. Changed oil and filter and installed a new air filter and cabin filter.
Should be done and detailed by the end of the week
It also needs tires so I suppose I will install a set of my favorite tires, Conti DWS

This is a very neat and rare V70 sport.
I can't remember when I've seen a geartronic in a non AWD Wagon

How much does something like that (or that car...) run on the retail market? Not looking but that's a nice late P2.

I JUST got it back.
New Conti DWS tires on    and she drives like a dream!
Serviced, PA inspected.
Detailing it today.
Hopfully new pictures tomorrow
Ready

Edit:
WOW Detail all done

It's too dark now for pictures but I really now wish I didn't have my 07 XC70.
I would rather have this as a driver in a heartbeat.
Looks (and now drives) like a brand new car, fabulous

My 2007 V70 2.5T has a geartronic and is non AWD. Don't know if the year makes a difference.

Perhaps, I really don't know.
I rarely buy FWDs for many reasons, the biggest reason is there just aren't many around that are much good anymore or they have 150K miles, but this one was so tempting in white I had to buy it.

It's only the second 2.5T post 2005 that I've ever bought. The other was an 06 with 17s, all the goodies and it too had a GT (IIRC).
I KNOW that 04s (and earlier) do not.

My wife's 04 2.5T (FWD) has a GT trans. It was included in the sport package. All 05-07 2.5T (fwd) have the GT trans.

'04 was the last year the sport package was available in the 2.5T. It was only an option on the T5 in '05.

Your '05 looks good, but has the thors as a stand-alone option, and sadly, has NO sport seats.

Thanks for the clarification.
As stated, this is only the 2nd 05-07 FWD V70 2.5T I've ever bought.
Reading the Volvo warranty app sheet, it does not specifically say sport like my 02 did, but it does have a bunch of sport options.
As for the seats, I had them on my 02 and frankly I really can't tell much of a difference but to be fair it has been a while!
