I bought the 2009/2010 Nav Update DVDs directly from Navteq and they just arrived.
I thought $200 was fair considering 4 years of updates.
Can't wait to try it out on the drive home from work.
I will give an update later this evening.
Im interested to hear what you find. I have the 2008 update that the previous owner purchased and updated before i got the car from him and it seems to be working pretty well for me. There are some simple quirks about the NAV that i dont like but im getting used to it. I had a hard time finding "newport Beach" when I was on my way to LA last week!! It wasnt that user friendly but i figured it out! Had to locate an ATM to get close lol

Well it was obviously very simple to install, it took a few minutes for the satellites to sync.
So definitely more points of interest, graphics identical, one thing I really miss it doesn't say what side of the road the destination is on. I really liked that.
So far I would say worth it, it was only $228 shipped and now is as current as any Garmin.
I still want to know if my Nav computer from my XC90 will work in my R. I would love to just update the whole system. Not to mention my XC90 gets a couple free map updates. Just another thing to put on the To-Do list.
