Volvo? Sports sedan? You bet. Some of the best from-the-factory bucket seats I've ever seen, 247 horsepower and AWD. That speck in the rearview mirror? The best that Saab can offer.

-Drew
why do reviewers keep writing this... "247 hp and AWD"... I would buy that car in a heartbeat, but it's "OR", not "AND".
I want an S60, AWD, 5-speed, 247hp... I'd even settle for just AWD and 5-speed.
Please tell me I'm wrong and I'll own (another) volvo tomorrow. Can I get:
1. T5, AWD, 5-speed
2. AWD, 5-speed
thanks,
kmr

If you still want a Volvo, I guess you will have to wait for the 6-speed S60R with AWD and 300+hp coming next year.
-Drew
you bring up a good point... "in north america"
Can I go to Sweden and get it and have it shipped back? I took european delivery of my wife's xc70... or would they (whoever 'they' are) not allow that? Are cars not originally offered in NA allowed in? If so, are there 'issues' (warranty, part unavailability, import fees, etc)?
which of my options is available elsewhere? I want (in order):
1. AWD, T5, manual
2. AWD, manual
I think the s60R will be a little (cough, hack) out of my price range (saw somewhere here suggested price in the mid 40s... that's a little steep).
thanks. krod
[This message has been edited by krod03079 (edited 12-28-2001).]

First of all, no major shipping company would ship the car from Europe. But even if you found someone willing to do that (and I am sure you would find someone if you devoted a lot of effort into this), then the car would not make it past the docks of the port of entry, for the reasons I just mentioned.
Yannis
