i have a 2000 s40 (phase 1).... one of the 1.9t engines<p>the written specs say that it has a 9:1 compression and something like 8.5psi and that's cool but im looking from a performance standpoint...with the engine internals- is it safe to raise the boost level at all- in the 2-4 psi range.

for sure s40concepts is the only site to use for modification of this type.<p>i have gotten NOTHING but good advice and tips, some jokes, but great advice. these are the guys, and they are all over the country, and they represent the brand well.<p>edit; world, they are all over the world, i just got an email to remind me. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/sly.gif" BORDER="0">

this forum is so dead for older s40. I submitted owners picture but nobody updated the page,lol
