What boost level is everyone seeing that is using the PPC?? I did a search and only found 1 thread but it was more about the boost gauges being off, and there was too much of a difference between how many pounds people were seeing......So generally, how many pounds are you getting with the PPC?? And is there any way to have them "up" the boost a little when you order it, or is it pretty much just 1 standard PPC tune that everyone gets??

Re: Boost Level With PPC (JimLill)

The last post is correct IF you have a manual tranny. GT's only have that boost level in 3rd gear on up. 1st and 2nd gears are still at factory boost levels of 12-14 psi. Rick.

Re: Boost Level With PPC (s60rdood)

I did alot (and in the end not enough) research when trying to decide on an ECU update and IPD is the only place that is open and consistent with the boost level of the new ECU program.

Re: Boost Level With PPC (Cicada)

Check my sig. I am kinda bias, I am running mad boost in ALL gears. 21-24psi depending on the ambient temp and humidity. I have the torque limiter removed so the pull is pretty much the same in every gear. She goes like a "raped" ape. Sorry zigger just had to throw that in

I feel a lot better getting a "hand-held tuner". God forbid something big happens, I can just plug in and un-do rather than taking out ECU, sending it in, waiting for it to come back, and then off to the dealer.

Re: (R_Rated)

If you have a GT then IPD is the way to go. I have had the BSR PPC and loved the power in 3rd gear on up. However having what felt like 1/2 the power in 1st and 2nd was very disapointing. Then I went to the stage 2 IPD ecu program and I will NEVER look back. Definately the best bang for the buck. And july 5-7th they are offering 10% off of the ecu tune. That is 95 bucks less than what I payed less than a month ago. Just my 2c's

Re: (Mash)

I met up with a local guy yesterday, he's on the forum here, he has an '04 R GT with TME exhaust and IPD Stage 2 ECU....I have 04 R 6sp with EST Intake.....his DEF has ALOT more top end than mine but still b/c mines a 6sp I feels like I still have more low-end than him....So I have felt the IPD effect on the GT and it is def. impressive
