I've been inquiring around the R forum about installing a boost gauge in the cubby of an '05+ S60 dash but I haven't got much response. With the IPD R-gauge nearing production has anyone over here got any tips on building a blanking plate for the cubby.<p>Something like this:<p><IMG SRC="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3374/3342041060_8a17dd8f19_b.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>This is Luciano's R BTW, but a shop did the fabrication and install so he does not have much info.

That would be easy enough to recreate with some sheeting, either plastic or aluminum. Simple shape to trace and cut. Gauges are easy enough to install.<p>I'd start with a piece of cardboard and work on the shape, when it's perfect you can transfer it to the sheet of plastic or aluminum and cut the final product. This is an afternoon job. I like it but I actually use that cubby on a daily basis.
