Where is everybody? Anyways do you ever envision yourself getting a car other than a new or used volvo?
If I were to get a new Volvo, it'd be this:

But if I could get any car for the amount of money I have saved up, it'd be this:

Welp, that's it from me. I've been watching for a nice 245T for some time, and will eventually pick one up. Who knows, we might even run it as a project car. They're a great car to have, and a real workhorse.

GrooveSG,
So, you have a 264 GLE huh? That is pretty damn cool because that was my parents first Volvo and that was the car that brought us into the Volvo family. They bought a dark brown 1980 GLE. They bought it in 1984 when it was only 4 years old, I was like 7 at the time and I thought that car was so cool because it had power windows, a manual crank sunroof, and leather seats! It was pretty darn advanced for 1984. I wish my parents still had that car, because the 264 GLE is a rare beast.
I remember, in the USA it was just called the GLE. Most Volvo's on the road were either DL or GL, it was rare to see a GLE. That car also used the infamous PRV V6, ugh! I had a fun time telling my friends that our car had the same engine as the DeLorean, they would never believe me.
Man, I wonder where that car is now. They traded it in to Nils Sefeldt Volvo in Houston Texas in 1986 when they bought a brand new 740 GLE.
-Drew

The engine is the least of my worries, as I do have a competent mechanic as well as a gearhead for a dad. There is rust developing on the rear quarter panel. The Paint has finally oxidized not only the roof, but on the hood and trunk as well. It's really a sad sight.

The car stalled on me 6 times today, and one of those times I was just coming from McDonalds. I had no drink, so I gulped down my fries with the risk of choking

How about Swedespeed do a feature on my car? Before and after:p
Edit:
Drew,
I've come terms with calling me 2 series, a 264 GLE. However...I still am sort of a snob knowing that I've a six, while most others have a 4

[This message has been edited by GrooveSG (edited 06-27-2001).]
