Blown struts...what else to replace?

Just got some new tires + alignment and discovered both of my front struts are "blown" @ 65K mi ( fluid leaking from the top of the tubes)

So I know I need new struts....but what other suspension wear items I should replace while everything's apart? springs, spring seats, end-links, ball joints, control arms, etc.

Upgrade the spring seats at least... get the XC90 or the iPD HD aftermarket seats.

Decent time to do the endlinks as well. Wehn I did my V70T5, I did the bearing plates as well, just so I knew when everything was replaced.

Everything will be apart, so if you have any urge to lower the car, do it then! You can get a set of Eibach springs for under $300 shipped.

After replacing the strut plates and strut mounts and getting an alignment, does the car need to get a SUM calibration? Or is the SUM calibration only needed if the car was lowered?

Are we capable of re-packing the 4C struts?

Has anyone ever tried repacking at a autoparts shop?

There was a thread a while back on this exact topic. The last I read in the thread is it hadn't been done before but one individual was pursuing it.

Was wondering the same thing...currently doing more research. I know they're made by Monroe, maybe one of their kits would work w/ 4C shocks?

so far my shopping list (per side):
Shock/spring assembly parts:
Strut(#1)_______________$500

Add in the...
IPD endlink______$60
Ball joint________$45
Tie rod(outer)____$80

+ var. bushings/hardware

So with the steering components, total is slightly north of a 'G' per side.

Anything else I forgot? Would it be fair to say that the whole front end suspension/steering overhaul will cost ~ $2500 in parts alone?
