Does anyone have a good picture (ANY picture) of this trim?
I've never seen it in person, we priced it out and I nearly had a heart attack.
(10% over dealer cost, it's about a grand for all 5 pieces incl. the shift knob!!!! (something like $1400 list!!)
It's THE most expensive trim out there (which is probably why I've never seen it) .
I may want to change out my aluminum to this.
This is the 3rd R in a row with aluminum and frankly I'm tired of it (besides it dents easily)
From the sound of it, the B/W may be very classy looking and different

Re: Black Walnut dash and console trim (JRL)

Emailed you a picture of my T5 with Burled Walnut. Not sure if they had two different flavors or if burled and black ae interchangeable. Hope it helps.

Seen it...just looks like the typical x70 wood trim but much, much darker...
Not worth the money IMHO...
Now the Carbon pieces...that's another story! $1500 CDN retail for only three pieces! That's expensive!
You should price those out!

Perhaps...
But everyone likes different things!
Anyways, next time I see my customer with the Black Walnut I'll snap a pic for you. And if you do change your aluminum, I would be interested in buying it...

Ahh cool, thanks, sorry it wasn't the one you were looking for! I still like it though, classy and not cheap looking. I did always admire the aluminum trim in my pop's '00 V70R, but you're right, it dents way too easily.
...and relax bud before you have a stroke, without being able to find a listing of all trim's with samples, there's no way I'd know. At least I attempted to help and posted a picture.

Re: (adamjjohn203)

You are at least 50% INcorrect
Didn't you see the CF post, totally different than what Kurt posted.
LOOK at the picture and look closely, it's wood grained. By definition CF is not.
Your posted top picture is not Black Walnut, it's hard to tell on the lower one but highly doubtful.
Black Walnut has no brown color to it, just black and grey wood.
I've seen it once and Kurt's picture sure looks like it
All this is moot, the small rear console piece I ordered should be here Monday
and the mystery will be solved
