All-
I have to delve into the front end of an 850T to do some freshening up (spring seats etc etc), and am already aware that the torx top of the passenger side Bilstein strut is pretty well rounded out. Has anyone here dealt with this? I haven't messed with it yet, but my first inclination is to either hammer the next largest size bit in, or to grind a slot in the top for a flathead to fit?? I was also thinking one could even hammer an Allen bit in, cut it off at about 1", and just leave it there....I'm trying not to act too hastily.
Potential solutions and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
