Installed the Spigen matte screen protector in my 2023 V60 PE and it is a game changer. No more ridiculous glare, the pic below shows how soft a direct reflection is. But most importantly...no more fingerprints. Now I can put away that fingerprint cloth Volvo provided!

It fits the screen really well with almost no gap, and feels so nice to touch. Highly recommend.

Excellent, I'll buy the same, this screen is a real fingerprint magnet indeed 😉
EDIT : I received it, installed and it's great! Still some fingerprints but much less than before. The peace of mind brought by the assurance the screen won't be scratched - priceless.
Thanks for the recommendation!

Note that the glare on the matte screen will be different. It's anti-glare in the sense that you won't get the sun reflecting into your eyes, but at night the overhead lamp will wash it out and in the day the sun behind you can also wash it out. Kinda a choose your poison proposition since it's better in some situations and worse in others, but I'm not sure I'll get matte next time

That a coincidence. I just received this one yesterday.
But i am hesitant to install because i read a lot of these reviews:

but unfortunately also a non-negligible blur in the readability of the original screen, it's also (makes sense since it's clearly matte) a bit too milky and not as deep a black as the original screen. The advertised glare protection due to the opacity is absurd because it itself is milky and when the sun shines on it (for example through the sunroof) it looks But you don't get any better. The difference with the dashboard display is too obvious and therefore looks less high-quality.

I do like the black level of the screen and the vibrant colors with apple carplay. Don’t want to loose that.

It's good to hear reasoned argument against things to get a well balanced view before forking out money (on anything), so thank-you for that!

I bought that and immediately cracked it trying to place it. Caught a corner. I have one now from a different brand at half price. I will make a flap of tape in the middle to hold onto while placing it on.

The one I got came with an excellent system to hold it while applying. Didn’t need much for bubble removal. Hardest part was getting the screen perfect with zero dust -possibly try running the cabin cleaning feature first to get dust out of the air

It’s easy to remove. Just pull off slowly. But it’s not reusable easily (it might break and will almost certainly get dusty on the adhesive side)

Ah thank you.
I waited to install mine.
But seeing the milky glass now, it’s definitely a no go for me. So I’ll will keep the Volvo fingerprint cloth near by … [emoji3526]

Well I was hoping this was a good solution to fingerprints. Seems like wiping the screen down every so often is still better. Besides, gotta wipe down that piano black trim every so often as well. Just do it all in one shot.

Just go with a glossy protector if you don’t like matte. they also exist. The reason I got a protector in the first place was because constant cleaning of the screen was causing micro scratches . Maybe some of you are in the “don’t keep a Volvo past the warranty” camp but I want to keep my cars as long as they run and that means many years of cleaning that screen. I’d rather be able to switch out the protector than have to replace the screen once scratches become too much

And I try not to touch the piano black at all unless I’m using a good lubricant with microfiber. Anyone can recommend a product that will reduce scratching on piano black when cleaning? (I know water and alcohol should work ok but not sure about a detailing spray meant for clear coat)
