I've searched in this forum and others, and have found various answers as to how to store wheels and tires. A wheel and tire tech who recently did some work on my car told me the best way to store my atlantis wheels on the stock tires would be to put each one in an individual plastic bag and seal them, and stack them horizontally, one on top of the other. he said it doesn't matter whether you stack all 4 or 2 and then 2, that they will be fine as long as they are sealed in bags. Anybody agree/disagree with this advice? I know a member of Tire Rack frequents this forum, so I would be interested to hear his response to this question in particular as well.

Re: Best Way to Store Unused wheels/tires (drewmin21)

The 'experts' whoever they are recommend to either hang the wheels on a wall or place on a storage rack (horizontally suspended).
Watch out for mold... keep them in a dry storage place.
I keep mine in bags and on storage racks. Cleaning the rims before storing helps prolong the rim life too.
