Best Oil for Modded Car? Motul?

Hello everyone! I've read through most threads on oil that people have been using. But haven't heard a lot about Motul being used. Is it worth it upgrading to Motul for a higher quality synthetic oil? Or any other higher quality ones like AMSOIL or Royal Purple? I've been running Mobil 1, and just switched to Liqui Moly in my daily S60. But looking for something better for my modded S60 and anyones opinions, criticisms, etc on top tier oils.

Royal purple is garbage, back on my vRs old motor when it used to burn oil, I did experiments with different oil brands, seeing which looked the cleanest after 5k and burned the least. I found:

Mobil 1 10w30 burned 0.8 quarts every 1200 miles

Royal Purple 5w40 burned 0.8 quarts every 600 miles

Valvoline 10w30 burned 0.8 quarts every 1200 miles

Castrol Edge 5w40 burned 0.8 quarts every 1800 miles

Been on Castrol for all my cars ever since.

completely unable to go through drive thrus

Had to shorten my flair because it was becoming disgustingly long

I have! Seems to be the same as the old 5w40 I used to get from them, although no oil is burnt, since a new motor has since been swapped in (cracked sleeve).
