Can anyone recommend a good independent Volvo Service Shop in the Seattle area (preferably Eastside). I want to have someone other than the dealer put on my Stainless Brake Lines, new brake fluid, and titanium shims. I know it's one of the easier things to do, but I stopped working on my own cars about 10 years ago. I don't want to give the dealer any reason to deny any future warranty claims but I also don't want some Yahoo working on my car. I need a Volvo guy who will appreciate and take good care of my R.

Warren Moy, Larry's Independent Volvo in Seattle is also good. He owns a pristine 544 also.

Additionally, on the eastside, there is Volvo Finders in Kirkland.

Good luck. BTW, putting on the stainless brakelines shouldn't be hard to do...just a bit messy.

Re: Best Independent Volvo Shop in Seattle? (Lead Foot 60)

I used Warren at Larry's for some brake work on our '03 XC90 T6 (since departed.) The shop is a bit grungy (meaning low overhead
) and the work and service he did was absolutely top notch at a reasonable price.
