after 6 years my battery did not pass the dealer regular maintenance and Inspection 54k-kilometers (420$ down the drain)

My dealer is selling me an OEM battery for 260$ + 13% Tax. (yes ontario tax)
Is there any other battery compatible with our cars that is not OEM ?

optima red top, u can get them for under 200 and are MUCH better then oe batteries

I changed my battery 2 or 3 years ago. $115 from Parts Source. No problems with it.
