Well, the die hard in our Project 240 died this week. I went and bought another and installed it last night. We cleaned the terminals and reinstalled.
The question is, does anybody have any recomendations on what I might want to apply to the terminals to slow oxidation? I've seen a redish grease that my dealer has used on my VW. I'm just not sure what it was.

Man..you should have asked me earlier. I had my interstate outta the C70, it's still brand new...probably would just sell it to you cheap or something.
Maybe I'll see if Mark wants it.

Too bad, I should have checked with you. I did it yesterday right at 5PM and the guy at Sears said they only had the high end one for my 240, meaning I paid more than I should have.
George

Any chance of returning the battery for full refund?

I will try to find the name and let you know.
At our place, we use some type of grease-consistency stuff; it is whitish-greyish in color. I will see what they call it and will let you know of the part number or how it can be acquired.
Yannis

It's like $2.50 at autozone for a small can.
