Recently looked under my car due to other mechanical issues and found this.
car has 129k with no service records.

all I see is an oil leak. The pan on front of trans that covers the VB uses only the RTV sealer and it looks like it is leaking. I always see way more RTV squeezed out at the pan to case seam.

you just may need to do a reseal of the valve body cover, thats all...its not really a bad valve body unless your experiencing abnormal shifting behavior.

resealing something like that is a piece of cake - take it off, clean thoroughly (be careful not to damage the aluminum) and then use a liquid gasket - basically a glue that you spread around ensuring a seamless seal - after a few minutes of curing it's good to go. Be sure not to put too much of it

Oil leak out or any fluid or anything?
