So lately I've been having a problem with vibration under acceleration in 3rd and up. I replaced the front tires and thought it would fix it, but it doesn't. It only happens when I'm accelerating and not when I'm just maintaining speed. Any ideas? Is this tires or engine?

Did you check your rear lugnut torque (or at least tightness) when doing the front tires? I had a vibration during coast and braking at-speed due to a loose rear wheel on my last car.
Is the vibration speed dependent, or gear dependent? i.e. can you get it to vibrate if you take 2nd gear up to 65mph?

Re: Bad highway vibration (tayk47)

Engine mounts? just a wild guess, but sure sound like it could be a failing engine mount.

T5's don't have a DMF, or do they?

I just had my engine mounts replaced, or so the dealer said. I just had my car in the dealer a month ago.
It's whenever I'm accelerating about 45mph. There's no vibration during coasting or braking.
