Brought the R back to the dealer again for the axle ping again and for a loud metallic rattle. Dealer fixed spline sleeves again and said the rattle was related to the axle clicking/ping. Pick it up an hour ago and the metallic rattle is still there if not louder. They said they checked all heat shield and said all were secure and in place. Where the hell is this rattle coming from? Most prevelant when slowing down to a stop next to another car or retaining wall. Something for the sound to bounce off of.
P.S.
I cannot afford XC 90 bolts. I barely have a job an cannot afford shi#$##$.

This is what you could do (and be a pioner at the same time)
Go to your local skate shop and buy skateboard trucks bushings. DO NOT buy the little ones, but buy the bushings used for long boards, which are bigger and thicker. I think that those are the same, or similar size as the ones that come with the xc90 bolts.
The skate bushings should run you $6 tops.
if my idea is correct, this should work and prevent the bolt from coming lose.

If this mod works, i'd like it to be called Tommy mod! hahaha
As a matter of fact, I'll try to buy a set this weekend and compare what's what
