I just did the repair last night. The B4 Servo Piston is on the driver side, facing rearward and angled down. Best access is by removing the driver side front tire. The servo piston cover is held in place by a spring clip. <p>The piston itself is spring loaded and I found it difficult on putting everything back together to apply enough pressure to get the cover deep enough to put the spring clip back into position. Granted I do not have a shop lift and only had the car jack to lift the car up, so my leverage was limited. <p>The new cover and O-rings have made a HUGE difference in the performance of the transmission. Much much much smoother, the 2-3 shift flare is gone!! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>

No, but is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and has a cross pattern on it. You cannot miss it.
