One of the axle bolts for my 04 V70R fell out on the highway somewhere (I assume, unless a thief needed exactly one!).

From the dealer, the bolt with the rubber part is like $25, but the same bolt without the rubber is $4. This shall not stand.

Does anyone have a spare or want to sell me theirs for cheap? Maybe from a wrecked car?

Thanks

?? Where did they say anything about reusing them?

Are these bolts TTY? (Torque to yield, one time use)

Agreed. I don't believe they're torque-to-yield, but I can also agree about being a cheapskate. :D...

Just pony up and buy it. Heck, I bought two new at the dealer to cure the chirping on my S70 AWD. They are expensive (as far as bolts go), but is it worth waiting for someone to find a used one for ya? :)

Good luck,

Joe

I bought one from FCP, $25 or so. I torqued to hand tight plus half turn.

As far as reusing, they are important but not life and death, and they're not crush washers or anything. Reusing with new thread lock is fine by me.
