Is this a common problem?
My 2009, D5, was recalled few years ago for repair of the tensioner.

And, I replaced the belt and tensioner under Volvo dealer 5 months ago.
Belt came off yesterday, my wife lost power steering suddenly, scary experience for her, she is not impressed.

After long wait with towing yesterday, back to the same dealer, will repair hopefully for free or discounted price.

What's the go. Would it keep repeating? any similar experience?

I dont know about Australia, but in the US all Volvo dealer repairs carry a 24 month/24,000 mile warranty. Now I believe its a lifetime warranty. Regardless it should be covered. If they just replaced it, it shouldnt fail. Unless you drove 100,000 miles in a few months, kidding.
